Amigo CuisineIt did not come to my mind that the city of Iligan has the best Mexican food I have ever tasted. I have tasted several food in my life. I tasted the Mexican food when I went to the US in a buffet restaurant. I was not impressed with Mexican food until I tasted the food cooked at Amigos Cuisine in Tibanga, Iligan City. I have been to almost half the globe and yet I only tasted the best Mexican food in my hometown. Do you like eating tacos, or may be arroz con pollo, or maybe sip the sopa de tortilla? Or you just wanna try to taste hot Mexican foods. That is no longer a problem. In the middle of the city of Iligan, where Mexicans could hardly be found or maybe seldom to visit, you can find a fantastic Mexican Cuisine. Amigos Cuisine is already existed for almost a year and yet only few people knows the place. If you will try once, surely, you will become a regular eater of the resto.

Why not try Mexican food? You will no longer go to big cities just to taste Mexican food. It is now available in Iligan City. As I asked the owner of where he got his training of culinary arts, he told me that he was trained in Cebu. So, why go to Cebu when the owner of the resto is bringing the Mexican Cuisine in Iligan.

The St. Michael’s Cathedral is the Iligan’s Cathedral. It is the church of the Roman Catholics in Iligan City. The Cathedral is located along Quezon Avenue of the City. It is located at the heart of the City. The location is mingled with the noise of the vehicles and people’s passersby nevertheless it adds the solemnity and quietness of the place. Iligan became a parish in 1834 separate from the parish of Cagayan de Misamis, but the Cathedral is constructed later in 1934 due to transfers from different locations. The transfer of the church accordingly due to flood suffered by the city during those years. Now, the cathedral is erected with a big cross of St. Francis of Assisi with the statue of the Patron Saint at the top of the church. It is manage by the Diocese of Iligan with its bishop, Bishop Elinito Gallido. Schedule of the Eucharistic Celebrations are as follows:

In fact, I visited one of the restaurants in Iligan that offers Filipino Cuisine. You can select whatever Filipino food you want.
